Benidoleig is a small town close to Orba in the Marina Alta area in Spain’s Costa Blanca.

The town makes for a quiet holiday away from the busy coast line yet within easy reach of many fabulous beaches in towns such as Denia or Javea.

Indeed the town also attracts many expats who now reside here on a permanent basis.

The village is a junior/infant school, nursery school and medical centre as well has a few basic shops, restaurants and bars although if you are looking for nightlife this is definitely not the place to come stay.

The traditional Spanish restaurant of La Lloma is well rated as is the popular International El Cid Restaurant & Bar.

Market day is on Thursday mornings and is well worth a visit to buy your fresh fruit & vegetables and souvenir leathergoods.
