Apart from wicker, the town is very Spanish with all amenities such as supermarkets, banks, bars, restaurants and is just 15 minutes to the STUNNING BLUE FLAG BEACHES. A beautiful town that gives you a great place to unwind and relax.

What places of interest can you recommend?
Montgo National Park and Mountain
The lands of Montgó belongs to Dénia, Xàbia and even Gata de Gorgos. The Montgó Nature Park extends among these three municipalities, a protected area of outstanding environmental value, with an area of 2,117 hectares and an altitude of 753 metres above sea level.
What are your favourite things to do in the area?
Hiking
The Senda del Racó del Bou, the Ruta Amarilla and the route that goes through Cova de l’Aigua or through Cova del Camell are of special interest. If you visit the Nature Park of Montgó, you will see in your path typically Mediterranean plant species such as kermes oak, lavender, maritime fennel and the Valencia rock violet. As far as fauna is concerned, in this protected area are seen birds as the yellow legged or the Audouin seagull, royal owls, kestrels and all types of reptiles, amphibians and mammals.
Can you give us some insider tips to the best bars or restaurants?
The Arenal area of Javea is a thriving beachside resort with an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. Our favourite for breakfast is the Champagne Bar where the staff are friendly, multilingual and are always pleased to see you. The full English breakfast is just delicious.
Cabo de Nao is a picturesque location with the historical lighthouse at the top, rugged cliff faces and stunning views across the sea. Some beautiful villas can be found amongst the woodland but with easy reach of all amenities.
Old Port is another picturesque location with traditional Spanish streets with bars and restaurants and of course the mooring of smaller yachts and boats.
