WEATHER IN THE SUMMER – JUNE – JULY – AUGUST

The weather in Sotogrande in winter is very mild compared to northern Europe. Most winter days in Sotogrande are clear and sunny although it cools down a lot in the evening. The temperatures can vary greatly in winter however, one day it can be over 20 degrees Celsius and you will be walking around in your T-shirt, on another day it can be 6 degrees Celsius and feel very cold.
As for clothing and what to wear for your winter holiday in Sotogrande – most days you will be able to wear just a pullover or jumper during the day but do bring a jacket or coat for the evenings.

The Mediterranean Sea remains warm and you can still swim well into October with daily temperatures in Sotogrande during late September averaging around 24ºC/73ºF, falling to 15ºC/59ºF at the end of November. At this time of year there are likely to be the occasional electrical thunderstorms with lightning and torrential rainfall sometimes resulting in flooding.
