Elviria is an upmarket sea side resort located twelve kilometres from the city centre of the popular swanky tourist resort of Marbella on the Costa del Sol on Southern Spain.
The nearest airport is Malaga Airport which is forty-five kilometres or twenty-seven miles away. The nearest train station to Elviria is in Fuengirola. The easiest way to get there is to hire a car.
Elviria follows a Mediterranean climate pattern which guarantees hot sunny summer weather, mild winters which sees most of its rainfall.
Elviria has been tipped to be the Malibu of the Costa del Sol and is a secret tip for families with children wishing to enjoy an affordable fabulous holiday in gorgeous surroundings. Many, hotels, villas and apartments are within walking distance to the beach and there is also a good selection of bars, restaurants, tapas bars, bakeries and twenty-four hour supermarkets.
The resort of Elviria is split into two parts which are the beach Elviria Playa with the popular urbanisations of Hacienda Playa, Cerrado de Elviria and White Pearl Beach and Elviria Hills.

Nikki Beach
At Elviria Playa you will find the five star hotel Don Carlos and the popular beach club Nikki Beach well known for its parties and nightlife. Golf
The golf courses are located in the Elviria Hills which are the Santa Maria Golf and Country Club, Greenlife Golf and the Cabopino Golf Marbella.
Recommended Restaurants
The El Lago Restaurant which opened its doors in 2000 and is the place to enjoy a good meal. El Lago is located on the Avenida Las Cumbres s/n Greenlife, on the urbanisation of Elviria Hills. You can book a table on 952 832 371 and look on their website https://restauranteellago.com/.
On the subject of Elviria’s restaurants the best rated restaurants to visit are the Arte Café, Playwright, Taj Mahal Elviria, El Laurel, Saffron Restaurant, Bar Uno, and Da Carlo.
Nightlife – Bars and Clubs
Although the nightlife of Elviria doesn’t compare to the nightlife of Marbella, the most popular venues to be entertained and dance the night away are The Playwright, The Beach House, Nikki Beach Nightclub, Tonic Lounge and Bar, Nu Fluid and Harmons.

Elviria Hills
One of the most famous urbanisations on the Costa del Sol, Elviria Hills is a very upmarket place to own or rent a property.
