Playa de las Americas is a purpose-built holiday resort located on the island of Tenerife in Spain.
Playa de las Américas was developed in the 1960’s next to the existing town of Los Cristianos and it now stretches north towards the more upmarket resort of Costa Adeje.
The resort is known to the the place to go for nightlife in Tenerife and the best areas to go for bars, pubs and clubs are Veronicas Strip, Starco Commercial Centre and the Patch.

Playa de las Americas is home to the Golf Las Americas Golf Course.
The popular Siam Water Park is located in Adeje to the north of the resort not far from the Golf Las Americas Golf Course.
The Aqualand Water Park and Loro Parque are also located in the vicinity.
