What is a Boarding Kennel for Dogs?

Boarding kennels in Mallorca are like a hotel for dogs. They are perfect for when owners need to be away, this might be for several hours a day such as when an owner is at work, or longer term, such as when the owner is on holiday.

A boarding kennel will usually house many dogs, usually in individual living areas. These might be inside or outside but with a sheltered area to sleep in. Some kennels will have communal living arrangements housing multiple dogs in one area so do check this before you make a booking.

Most dogs thrive in this environment as they are well-fed, cared for and exercised regularly but some dogs which have been poorly socialised, are excessively timid or aggressive may struggle to fit in.

What is a Cattery?

A cat boarding facility or cattery in Mallorca Spain is a place you can take your kitty to stay while you’re away. Catteries usually comprise many separate rooms or enclosures for cats and sometimes a communal area. As an alternative, some owners prefer to employ a pet sitter for their dog or cat, this ensures your pet has minimal disruption and the cost may actually be more or less the same as booking your pet into a boarding kennel or cattery.

We also list boarding kennels, cattery and pet sitters in Costa Blanca and dog kennels and cattery in Murcia. We also list boarding kennels on the Costa del Sol.

Hi, I am enquiring for my sister. She is currently travelling with her family and dog. We are coming over to club cala romani in calas de mallorca (I think). She is hoping to join us but obviously she cant bring the dog so i am researching the possibility of kennels for her. Is this something you can help with?
