One of the cheapest ways families with children can enjoy a vacation in Benidorm, Spain is to go camping.

Benidorm is located an hour away by car from Alicante Airport and a ninety minute transfer from Valencia Airport on the Northern Costa Blanca.

Benidorm benefits from long hot summer weather which is also ideal camping weather and to see what the resort has to offer holiday makers why not check out some of the Benidorm webcams scattered around this popular sea side resort.

Benidorm has a whole host of activities for the active holidaymaker, such as theme park visits to Aqualandia, Mundomar, Terra Mitcia and Terra Natura, as well as great beaches for relaxing at the Playa Levante and Playa Poniente.

Benidorms nightlife is the best on the Northern Costa Blanca, and should include a visit to the Benidorm Palace. Beniform also has a couple of golf courses and because of the weather can also be enjoyed all year round.

Benidorm has as many as twelve campsites many of which are located on the Avenida del Doctor Severo Ochoa. As they all have different rates and amenities it is best to compare the Benidorm camp sites and then pick the campsite best suited to your individual needs.

Benidorm campsites are ideal if you are arriving by car with or without your caravan, motorhome, camper van, caravan or RV.

Camping Villasol

One of the most popular campsites in Benidorm is the campsite Camping Villasol which is located on the Avenida Bernat de Sarria 1.5 kilometres from the Playa Levante and 2.5 kilometres from the resort centre.

Welcome to Camping Arena Blanca, we are in Benidorm city, in a natural environment between sea and mountains, near the famous water park Aqualandia, Terra Mitica and the majestic Sierra Helada natural park.

Camping Benidorm Bungalows

The Camping Benidorm Bungalows are located on the Avenida Severo Ochoa 50, two kilometres away from the popular Playa Levante and ten minutes away by car from Terra Mitica and Terra Natura, with a contact telephone number of 965 860 011.

Prices start at €5.50 per day for adults €4.40 for children, €5.50 for a car €5.50 for a ten, €7.50 a day for a motor home, €1.20 for pets and €3.50 for electricity.

Camping Magic Excalibur

Camping Magic Excalibur is located four kilometres from the Benidorm resort centre. Accommodation can be booked in bungalows sleeping 2-6 people with air conditioning and heating, mini fridge and bath with shower. Onsite facilities include:

  • Heated Indoor Swimming Pool

You can choose to book meal plans from bed & breakfast, half board, full board, all inclusive as well as all inclusive with excursions which includes entrance tickets to Benidorm’s theme parks.

Rates for adults start at €38 per person per night with breakfast while children pay €19 per night.

As far as camping charges are concerned it does appear to be pricey, but if luxury camping is what you are after, Camping Magic Excalibur ticks all the boxes.

Camping Armanello

Camping Armanello also has bungalows for rent starting at €36.75 per person per day. They have several special offers that you can take advantage of such as free entrance to Terra Mitica and the Electro Beach Festival.

  • Evening entertainment
  • Laundry

Camping rates start at €3.50 a day, while a plot costs €17.50 a day, tent and a car €6.25 each and electricity €3.25. Family tents €12.50.

Camping Raco

Camping Raco also has the option to rent bungalows. Facilities include:

Camping Benisol

Camping Benisol has an outdoor swimming pool which is in use during the summer time only. The indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi is available for use in the winter time only.

Additional facilities include:

Public Transport facilities close by include bus stop and train station.

Rates start at €9 per day in the low season for a plot, children €3 a day, adults €3.30 for adults and €3 a day for electricity.

Tents cost €3.65 a day, 4.15 for cars and €2.50 for any additional vehicles.

Villamar Camp Site

The Villamar Camp Site is located on the Carretera del Albir and the telephone number is 966 811 255.

Facilities include:

Rates start at €4.25 for children aged 4-9, €5.70 for a car, €5.90 for a tent and caravan, €11.60 for a camper van and €19.00 for a motor home. Electricity is charged at €4.25 per day.

Booking a camping holiday to Benidorm is a cheap way to enjoy a vacation to one of the most popular tourist resorts on the Northern Costa Blanca.

A camping holiday no longer means having to rough it and one can enjoy quite a few luxuries.

You can choose to rent a bungalow if you have not come by car with a caravan or motor home as well.

Benidorm campsites have all the facilities as well as the weather to enjoy a vacation on the Playa Levante and the Playa Poniente.
