Benidorm Excursions: Organised Day Trips and Tours

It was about time that organised trips would be offered from the busy, bustling tourist resort of Benidorm.

Round Town now has a significant amount of day and half day trips available to book.

It is much easier getting on a bus and enjoying an organised excursion with experts on the area than hiring a car and setting out and finding your way about.

The downside is that organised Benidorm excursions aren’t cheap but then car hire costs fall away.

Participants are picked up from their hotels or apartments at an agreed time and then once the excursion is over will be dropped back their accommodations.

An organised excursion to the fortified village of Guadalest takes place every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00. This half-day excursion is priced at €15 and €12 for children under the age of 12.

A trip to Algar Village and the Algar Falls takes place every Monday at 10:00. This is also a half day excursion and is priced at €17.50 for adults and €15.50 for children under 12 years of age.

The Seven Magnificent Village excursion takes four hours and is a half day trip which takes place every Monday from 09:30. This excursion visits the picturesque villages near Benidorm This excursion is priced at €15 each.

The excursion to Moraira is a six hour excursion which takes place every Thursday from 09:30 and includes a chocolate and wine tasting at a bodega. This excursion is priced at €18.

An excursion by the name of Fish and Sips takes place on Fridays and is a full day trip visiting Altea or Albir, a bodega for wine and chocolate tasting, the Jalon Valley for lunch, bring a picnic or eat in a local cafe, the caves at Benidoleig and a visit to Calpe to watch the fish auction. This excursion departs Benidorm 09:30 and will return to Benidorm at 18:00. The cost of this excursion is a very reasonable €20 per person.

A full day excursion to the city of Valencia takes place every Thursday departing Albir at 08:30 and 07:45 from Benidorm. This is a fully guided city tour of the historical city centre, monuments and cathedrals. The two museums on this excursion to visit are the Marques de dos Aguas and the Fallas. This excursion costs €39 per person.

The Jeep Safari explores the mountain, valley and river terrain in the area. Included in this trip is a visit to the Algar Falls, although meals and refreshments are not included. The Jeep Safari excursion is a full day excursion departing Benidorm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 09:00 and is priced at €59 for adults and €45.50 for children under the age of 12. Participants will return to Benidorm at 17:00.

The Costa Blanca tour departs Albir at 08:30 and Benidorm at 08:50 every Tuesday travelling through Altea, Calpe and Benissa to Jalon where the trip begins, then it is on to Coll de Rates and the mountainside village of Taberna. In the afternoon participants will visit the Cactus Gardens and the Algar Falls with the final stop at Altea before returning to Albir and Benidorm. The cost of this day out is €49 for adults and €25 for children under the age of 12 but does not include any food and drink.

Apart from organised excursions there are the theme parks to enjoy, nightlife , restaurants and sun soaked days at the beach.
