Conditions are that they are not being used for commercial purposes and that the trailer or caravan are within the limits allowed by Spanish law.
Do double-check that you have written permission in your contract/policy and in most instances you will only pay a small additional premium.
Be aware that your car insurance policy will cover you for the legal liability arising from the trailer or caravan being towed and causing damage to other vehicles or persons but the actual caravan or trailer IS NOT covered so obviously separate insurance is required should you be unwilling to take the risk.
