The Costa Blanca coast which includes Alicante and Torrevieja would be an excellent choice for the lifestyle.

I.T. Work in Spain – Computer Jobs 2023
You are in a great position compared with many other people looking to work in Spain. The majority of jobs that these English speaking people are expecting to find are fairly menial positions such as working in a bar, restaurant or cleaning apartments and villas.
As an IT worker in Spain your skills will be appreciated and well paid due to your specialisation. The other added advantage is that you will be employed on an official workers contract which comes with many benefits such as free entitlement to medical care using the Spanish state health care system.
If you work in Spain long enough will build up entitlement to a pension and if you have children they will be entitled to free schooling in Spain.
The cost of living in Spain is generally a lot lower than other European countries such as the United Kingdom and Germany so you are likely to be able to have an extremely good lifestyle.
You will also be able to enjoy the wonderful climate which enables you to enjoy the outdoors so much more than most other European countries. The chances are you will not be too far away from some lovely beaches or even ski resorts.
If you are a national of a European Union country you will not need a visa and so working in Spain is extremely simple. All you need is a tax identification number which is known as the NIE which your employer will sort out for you.

I’m an 33-year old clinical data manager. I’ve been working in clinical research for 7 years in all kinds of fields, Phase II – IV, using paper based CRFs(e.g. using Clintrial, Teleform) as well as eCRFs (Webspirit, REDCap).
I did some reporting using SQL, SAS, Cristal Reports and Cubeware and I’m familiar with relational database design (MS Access, MS SQL).
