WILD Marbella Nightlife Guide: BEST Bars Pubs Nightclubs

Marbella and its Golden Mile is the most famous of all the sea side resorts in Spain and is located on the Costa del Sol in Southern Spain.

The closest airport to Marbella is Malaga International Airport and it is less than forty minutes away by car.

This upmarket sea side resort is synonymous with glitzy and attracts the rich and famous all year round to see and to be seen.

Marbella’s nightlife is famous and its discos, night clubs, beach clubs and bars are filled to capacity every night. Money isn’t an issue for the nightlife revellers who are all out to have a good time.

Marbella nightlife in most cases does require a dress code which is smart casual.

If you want to consider similar towns that are good for crazy nightlife in Spain, we recommend Benidorm on the Costa Blanca with its karaoke singing, cheesy tribute bands and rude adult shows  like Sticky Vicky Benidorm.

Closer to Marbella, there is the Benalmadena bar and clubbing scene.

Nikki Beach Marbella

Popular Marbella bars to spend the evening include the Babylon Cocktail Bar, Bar Olive Tree, Barrocco Bar, Town House Bar, Finca Besaya, the Havanna Bar, and of course Olivia Valere.

Good Flamenco performances can be enjoyed at Flamenco Ana Maria which is located on the Plaza Santo Cristo in the Casco Antiguo. To make a reservation you can ring  634 366 578.

Donde Maria Sala Flamenca is located on the Calle Vicente Blasco Ibañez with a contact telephone number 684 685 575. You can expect to pay around €35 for the evening which includes the show and a drink.

According to the Trip Advisor the best bars in Marbella for live music include:

· Ana Marias, Located in the centre of Old Town Marbella, at the Plaza de Santo Cristo, this is the spot for traditional Spanish flamenco music.

· La Notte Piano Bar offers a more upscale evening option.

· The Champagne Room at Hotel Marbella Club has a swanky 1960’s style.

· Stones Music Bar (now and Irish Bar) is the place for karaoke fans.

The following locations are high energy dance clubs loved by tourists:

· Olivia Valere, This multi-bar nightclub has a large dance floor and goes on all night but tourists are warned that it’s the most expensive of the local clubs.

· Café del Mar is a low-key club known for its attractive staff and guests.

· Oh Marbella is the favorite of the all-night dance clubs

The casino favoured by most tourists, the Casino Nueva, Andalucia, is actually located in nearby Puerto Banus.

Nikki Beach Marbella is a beach club with a very lively entertainment programme after dark with live music and good fairly priced cuisine. Nikki Beach is the beach club to go to during the day to enjoy themed parties such as the famous Champagne Parties on Sundays.

Olivia Valere is one of the most popular night clubs in Marbella and is pricey to say the least.

You can enjoy a meal at their Babylonia Palace and the onsite La Prive is another gourmet restaurant on the premises. Karen Terrace is open from mid June until the end of September is the place for the ultimate chill out. Olivia Valere is located on the Carretera de Istan and you can make reservations on 952 828 861 or on their website.

Suite is located in the Hotel Punte Romano on the Carretera de Cadiz in Marbella and attracts the it crowd from Marbella and the surrounding resorts. You can book an evening at this venue on 952 820 900.

The Old Town in Marbella is a trendy place good for Spanish restaurants, clubs, bars and pubs, mostly for a more mature audience.

Marbella nightlife is pricey and you can expect to pay €25 for a drink. Admission prices for the top clubs start at €20 and usually include one free drink. The top club as recommended by nightlife fanatics is Tibu over in Puerto Banus and is a must for all nightlife enthusiasts.
